Training Tips

    Boxing fitness training is effective and intense. It will get you into the best shape of your life. To experience the best out of boxing fitness training,  please make a daily commitment to the following:

1) Get plenty of rest

    Please try to sleep at least a minimum of seven hours daily. Getting plenty of rest helps the muscles to recuperate after a strenuous boxing training session.

2) Improve food intake

    Your goal is to eat "clean", fresh foods as much as possible. Avoid processed foods, with a lot of refined sugar, fat and salt added.

    To keep your energy level and metabolism levels up.  Try to eat 5 to 6 "mini" meals a day. Eating a small meal every 3 to 4 hours is ideal. Portion size is important for calorie control.

    Very important...try to eat a balanced meal 1 to 2 hours prior to your boxing fitness training.

3) Come prepared to seriously train

    Please always come prepared to Boxing Fitness Studios of America ready to train in comfortable athletic clothing that offers room for movement. Boxing shoes are preferred but not necessary. However, please avoid wearing athletic shoes with dark colored soles.

4) Focused commitment to Boxing Fitness Training...Embrace the Art

    For your boxing fitness program to be the most effective, we recommend that you train at least 3 days per week.

    Learning the art of boxing is "skill building".  It is important to be patient with yourself as you are learning various techniques. Have confidence in yourself and your unique individual abilities. You will see progress in your physical condition, your skills, and have lots of fun!
